Congressman Chris Gibson ®-NY) has agreed to re-introduce the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act early in this Congress. He would like to do so with at least 100 original co-sponsors. We have collected around 22 so far, many in response to letters and e-mails from supporters. We want to ensure the Members of Congress that there is still support out there for this bill. Please take the time, if you have not already done so, to contact the Washington DC office of your Member of Congress to ask him or her to contact Congressman Gibson’s office and agree to be an original co-sponsor. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. The bill has had bi-partisan support and will continue to enjoy this support. If you have the time, please contact the office of Congressman Jeff Miller (R-FL) and Corrine Brown (D-FL) the Chair and Ranking Member of the House Veterans Committee and ask them to move the bill to the floor once it is introduced. Let’s get this bill passed in 2015.
