This Blog is being made to help bring information to other so that they
know about a problem with Agent Orange that some US Navy Veterans referred to
as the Blue Water Navy may have.
Nearly half of the surviving hundred thousand members of the United
State Navy and Fleet Marine services who served in Vietnam between 1962 and 1975 may
currently be suffering disabilities from the effects of dioxin, found in Agent
Orange. These service members are now being denied all service connected health
care from the VA and disability compensation for these diseases by the
Department of Veterans Affairs. A bill, H.R. 543 was hidden in committee with over 250 co-sponsors, meaning that 250 of the
435 members of the 113th House of Representatives did supported the bill. Yet
they did not bring it to the floor of the 113th Congress so that the
full House could vote on it. Let us hope that in the 114th session
of Congress that they do induce and new bill and pass it.
